Heavy Equipment Shop Manager

This person will be responsible for:Managing the shop's team of personnel ~25-30 employees which is comprised of:Heavy equipment mechanicsWeldersFuel and Grease/Lube PersonnelLowboy driversPrioritizing and optimizing repairs to minimize field crew downtime and improve efficiency.Prioritizing and dispatching equipment moves.Purchasing and maintenance/repair of our heavy equipment fleet ~ 200 pieces:Hitachi excavatorsTerex and Volvo off-road articulated dump trucksJohn Deere and Cat bulldozersIR and CAT rollers/compactorsHitachi front loadersWirtgen soil stabilizersPurchasing and maintenance/repair of our on road fleet ~ 50 piecesLight truck fleetCommercial fleetInventory and sourcing repair/replacement parts, materials, and tools/equipment.Maintaining and adhering to the annual budget for the shop facility. Reporting out to upper management on a quarterly basis.
