With locations and customers all over the world, Optima Machinery Corporation designs and builds packaging and filling machines including complete production lines for pharmaceutical, consumer, nonwovens and life science products.To learn more, click here: You'll Do: Manage IBN at customer site and be present on-site as neededCoordinate customer activities with line activities and manage claims if necessaryCommunicate and meet with all levels of management, both with and without the customerManage and coordinate teams during commissioning of stations and complex lines with support from the technical department in GermanyCreate and monitor schedules, and take action if necessaryServe as an interface between specialist departments, particularly with the engineering department in GermanySupervise error analysis and correctionPlan and implement re-installation, commissioning, acceptance, training, and production ramp-up of integrated lines at customer sitePlan and implement installation conceptsLead and coordinate commissioning teams from sister companies in Germany and at customer siteLead, plan, and report on open points while serving as the single point of contact on-siteWhat You'll Need:Several years of experience in special machine construction as well as in the commissioning of plants indispensableCompleted engineering studies or technician in the field of mechatronics, automation technology, mechanical engineering, pharmaceutical technologyApproximately 20-45% travel to Europe, Canada and within the USValid Driver's License & Passport is required
