This role plays a critical part in attracting, engaging, and hiring high-quality talent to support business growth and operational excellence.In addition to staff recruiting, this position serves as a backup resource for 1099 Independent Contractor (IC) driver recruitment, contributes to special recruiting initiatives, and plays an active role in early-stage employee retention efforts to improve new hire success and reduce turnover. The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, while delivering a strong candidate and hiring manager experience.Starting pay: $30.00-33.50 per hourSchedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (onsite)What You'll DoManage the full recruitment lifecycle for staff roles, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer negotiation.Promote and represent Crossroads Courier's culture and core values in all interactions.Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, develop and maintain job descriptions, and ensure alignment on candidates' profiles and expectations.Conduct phone screens and in-depth interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural alignment.Coordinate with internal teams to support onboarding readiness, including pre-employment steps and start date logistics.Deliver a high-quality candidate experience through consistent communication and engagement.Develop and execute proactive and creative sourcing strategies across platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, niche job boards, networking events, and community outreach) to build and maintain strong talent pipelines for both high-volume and hard-to-fill roles.Provide support for high-volume 1099 Independent Contractor driver recruitment as needed.Assist with 1099 IC sourcing, applicant communication, and onboarding coordination during peak demand periods.Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and recruiting best practices. What We're Looking ForHigh School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications or a related field preferred.Minimum 2 years of work experience as a Recruiter (in-house or agency) with exposure to high-volume or fast-paced environments preferred.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and proactively to overcome recruiting challenges.Strong organizational skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, operationally driven environment with evolving hiring needs.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).Demonstrate a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with staff, customers, vendors, and delivery personnel.Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and sourcing tools (LinkedIn, , etc.)Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.Flexibility to jump in to make deliveries, ensuring our customers get their packages right when they need them.Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Why Crossroads Courier?Competitive starting hourly pay at $30.00-33.50 per hour and benefits package with clear growth potentialHands-on experience in Recruiting, HR, and OperationsSupportive, collaborative team cultureA chance to see your work make a real impact...fast!A great opportunity for a career in Talent Acquisition or Human ResourcesReady to launch or grow your human resources career?
