Position: Part-Time Grant WriterCompany: Confidential Nonprofit OrganizationLocation: Downtown Los Angeles, CA 90017Schedule: 10-20 hours per week to start, with opportunity to increaseDuration: Open-ended; strong potential for long-term growthPosition OverviewA mission-driven nonprofit organization is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time Grant Writer to oversee the full grant lifecycle"”from research and opportunity identification through proposal development, submission, and reporting. This role will begin on a part-time basis with the expectation of ramping up hours over time based on organizational needs and the candidate's impact.Key ResponsibilitiesResearch, identify, and evaluate new grant opportunities aligned with organizational prioritiesManage the full grant lifecycle, including application development, submission, and post-award reportingWrite, edit, and submit compelling grant proposals for corporate, foundation, and public funding sourcesTrack deadlines, deliverables, and compliance requirements to ensure timely submissionsCollaborate with internal teams to gather program data, metrics, and supporting materialsMaintain organized records of grant activity, submissions, and outcomesPresent funding opportunities and strategic recommendations to leadershipSupport long-term grant strategy and pipeline developmentQualificationsProven experience in grant writing, including managing the full grant lifecycleExperience with corporate, foundation, and public sector funding sourcesStrong research skills with the ability to proactively identify opportunitiesExcellent writing, editing, and communication skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlinesSelf-starter with the ability to work independently in a part-time capacityExperience within nonprofit or mission-driven organizations preferredAdditional DetailsHours are expected to increase over time based on performance and organizational needsCompensation is flexible; candidates with higher rate requirements are encouraged to applyThis is a long-term, indefinite opportunity with the potential for expanded scope and increased remote flexibilityApply Now!About Us:Career Group is a premier, recruiting agency and a widely recognized name in corporate and administrative staffing.
