Job Description

OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the development and ongoing improvement of automated beverage dispensing equipment. This role combines new product development with sustaining engineering, with a strong emphasis on design for manufacturing (DFM). You will own products from concept through production, playing a key role in scaling designs for manufacturing while maintaining performance and quality in the field.Key ResponsibilitiesLead mechanical design using SolidWorks for beverage dispensing systems and componentsDrive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) initiatives for plastic injection-molded and sheet metal partsSupport prototype builds and transition designs into mass productionOwn product lifecycle from concept through production and sustaining improvementsDevelop and maintain engineering documentation, drawings, and revision controlConduct testing and validation to ensure product performance and reliabilityCollaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, suppliers, and engineering teamsPresent technical concepts and updates to stakeholders at all levelsWhat You'll Bring5-10+ years of mechanical engineering experience (senior-level preferred)Strong proficiency in SolidWorksExperience with DFM and a strong manufacturing mindsetBackground in plastic injection molding and/or sheet metal design preferredStrong communication skills and ability to work across teams and functionsExperience with CFD or FEA is a plusAdditional DetailsTravel: Up to 25% (primarily domestic, including trips to Florida for prototype development)Compensation: $80,000 - $130,000, depending on experience (relocation support available)Interview Process: Initial 15-30 minute screening call followed by onsite team interviewsWork Environment & CultureCollaborative, team-oriented environment with a relaxed, "low-ego" cultureOpportunity for full product ownership and high visibility across the organization
