Job title: HR Assistant Location:Los Angeles California 90033 United StatesOnsite role Monday-FridaySchedule:Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMLanguage Requirement:Bilingual Spanish requiredPosition OverviewThe HR Assistant serves as the main point of contact for the Human Resources Department, supporting a wide range of administrative and HR functions. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDay-to-Day Duties:Act as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiriesAnswer and route phone calls, emails, and internal requestsManage HR documentation, including status changes, check requests, and employee recordsSupport payroll-related processes such as employee updates, timesheet corrections, and wage replacementsMaintain inventory and distribute equipment (laptops, headsets, webcams, gate keys, etc.)Handle employment verification requestsPerform confidential data entry and typing assignmentsComplete general administrative tasks (mail sorting, filing, ordering supplies)Assist with Wellness Committee activities, events, and meetingsProcess union medical reimbursements and uniform distributionSupport recruitment, onboarding, and other HR functions as neededCollaborate with providers and staff; provider onboarding support may transition to a manager in the futurePerform additional duties as assignedRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong administrative backgroundAbility to work cross-functionally with multiple departments and stakeholdersResilience and adaptability in a dynamic environmentStrong typing and communication skillsExperience interacting with staff and healthcare providersProficiency in ADP, Canva, and ExcelPreferred ExperiencePrevious HR experience in a community clinic or healthcare setting
