People Compliance Program ManagerA leading AI organization is hiring a People Compliance Program Manager to support policy governance, employee compliance initiatives, and internal communications across the People organization. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a strong mix of HR/People Operations, compliance, policy writing, stakeholder management, and program/project management experience.In this role, you will help manage a backlog of People policies from draft through approval and rollout. You will partner closely with Legal, HR Compliance, People Operations, Employee Relations, Security, and People Communications to gather feedback, track approvals, finalize policy drafts, and ensure policies are clearly communicated and consistently adopted.Location: San Francisco Bay Area, CASchedule: HybridDuration: 3 to 6 month contractPay Rate: Up to $70-$90Interview Process: 2 roundsWhat You'll Do:Own and manage the policy lifecycle, including intake, drafting, review, approval, launch, and ongoing maintenanceCoordinate stakeholder review cycles across Legal, People Operations, HR Compliance, Employee Relations, Security, and other internal teamsTrack policy status, feedback, approvals, dependencies, timelines, and version controlHelp finalize People policy drafts and ensure updates move through the proper approval processDraft or support internal communications, FAQs, guidance materials, and employee-facing policy launch contentSupport employee policy acknowledgment tracking, follow-ups, and audit-ready documentationIdentify risks, gaps, delays, or process issues and help drive resolutionImprove scalable workflows for policy governance, documentation, review cycles, and communicationsWhat We're Looking For:3+ years of program or project management experience within HR, People Operations, Compliance, Legal Operations, or a related functionExperience supporting policy writing, policy governance, internal communications, or formal documentationStrong written communication skills with the ability to create clear, polished, employee-facing materialsExperience managing cross-functional stakeholders, feedback loops, timelines, and approvalsStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage sensitive/confidential informationComfortable partnering closely with Legal, Compliance, and People teamsExperience with global policies, employee acknowledgments, HRIS platforms, document management systems, or knowledge bases is a plusA redacted policy writing sample is a strong plusBest Fit Backgrounds:HR Program ManagerPeople Operations Program ManagerCompliance Program ManagerLegal Operations Program ManagerHR Policy ManagerPeople Compliance SpecialistPolicy Governance Program ManagerInternal Communications professional with HR policy experience
