This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate, test, and troubleshoot high-performance radar software systems in dynamic, mission-critical environments.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport software integration and testing under senior engineer guidanceConduct system testing and debugging in shipyard environmentsExecute test plans, procedures, and scripts for validationAnalyze and resolve software/hardware interface issuesDocument integration processes, test results, and troubleshooting stepsAssist with field installations and system deploymentRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field2+ years of experience in software integration, development, or testingStrong programming skills in C++ or JavaExperience with scripting languages (Python, Perl, or Bash)Proficiency with Linux and command-line environmentsExperience with debugging tools (e.g., GDB, Wireshark)Familiarity with version control tools (Git, Jira, or ClearCase)Active U.S. security clearance (transferable) required prior to startU.S. Citizenship requiredPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of radar systems, signal processing, or real-time systemsExperience with Agile development methodologiesFamiliarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelinesUnderstanding of hardware/software integration (radar or sensor systems)Experience with MATLAB or similar analysis toolsExperience & EducationExperience: 2+ YearsEducation: Bachelor's degree (required)Success MetricsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionEffective judgment in escalating complex issues to SMEsContribution to safe and successful integration/test eventsStrong collaboration in high-pressure, dynamic environmentsConsistent support of team objectives and system testing goalsWork Environment & CultureCollaborative, small-team setting supporting RTX programsPrimary software contributor on-site in many scenariosLocation: Newport News, VA (Shipyard Environment)Workload may reach up to 60 hours/week (Mon-Fri)Schedule is dynamic based on ship construction timelinesProject cycles typically range 14-24 monthsShift work and weekend work may be required.About our Company: -22nd Century Technologies, Inc., is one of the fastest growing IT Service Integrator and Workforce Solution companies in the United States.
