Job Description

The EFCA National Office is seeking a full-time Director of Human Resources to lead the development and implementation of Human Resources strategies and initiatives to support strategic directives and ensure a healthy office culture, high employee satisfaction, and meaningful employee development. Direct all functions of the Human Resources department, including recruiting, performance management, compensation, benefits administration, employee relations, payroll, and development of organization policies and practices.Start Date: ASAPHours Per Week40Benefits: Medical, Dental, Life, Disability, 403(b) match, Paid Holidays, Paid Time OffDuties• Provide organizational leadership that promotes a healthy, engaged, and mission-aligned office culture. • Serve as a trusted resource to staff and leadership, balancing employee advocacy with organizational needs. • Lead HR strategy across recruiting, hiring, performance management, compensation, and employee development. • Equip supervisors through training, coaching, and structured performance review processes. • Oversee benefits administration and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws. • Maintain and update HR policies and manage organizational compliance reporting. • Represent HR on key national office teams and committees. • Provide leadership to HR department staff and oversee HRIS systems and vendor relationships.Skills and Requirements• Alignment with and commitment to the mission and values of the EFCA. • Maturity in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field. • Five years of HR leadership experience with progressive responsibility. • HR certification preferred (PHR/SPHR or SHRM). • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws. • Experience with UKG Ready HRIS (preferred). • Ability to maintain confidentiality and build strong relational trust. • Skilled in organization, conflict management, and attention to detail. • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR staff, including performance evaluations and oversight of: - Senior Payroll Specialist - Full-time HR Administrator - Part-time HR Administrator
