Service Technician

The Service technician role is to respond to all customer's installation, maintenance and repair needs. The role functions both at the warehouse and on-site at the customer's location to perform service on MFP's, copiers, printers, and fax machines. Duties and responsibilitiesInstall, maintain and repair MFP's, Copiers, printers, and fax machines by performing service calls at the customers locations as well as in the warehouse.Customer location service calls will apprise approximately 80% of the technician's time.Maintain proper inventory of parts in their vehicleMaintain response-time and performance standards according to TTSG satisfaction.Electro/Mechanical abilities to install, disassemble, and reassemble copiers and partsExcellent time management skills and communication with dispatch as well as supervisor at warehouseQualificationsHigh School Diploma required Certifications via vendors or new equipment training Ability to be very detailedExcellent electro/mechanical abilityExperience in mechanical repair helpful but not necessarySelf-motivatedGood communication skills with Manager and customersWorking conditionsThis position works out of the warehouse as well as requires driving to the customer site. Requires a friendly customer rapport while still having the ability to be time efficient and apply mechanical detailed skills.Physical requirementsHeavy lifting is required for this job. Staff must be able to lift 150 lbs on a daily basis. Heavy travel to differing customer locations is required daily. Ability to interact in a customer friendly environment.
