Location: St Louis, MOReports to: CFOPartners closely with: Corporate Controller, Legal/Executive Leadership, Department ManagersCompany: CC3 SolutionsPosition SummaryCC3 is seeking a highly trustworthy, detail-oriented, and people-centered HR & Payroll Manager to serve as the primary ambassador between employees and the organization. This role is a critical blend of human resources administration, payroll execution, employee support, and office engagement.The right candidate will be entrusted with confidential compensation and personnel information and expected to handle that responsibility with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment. This person will own the day-to-day execution of payroll, benefits administration, onboarding, off boarding, employee documentation, and routine employee support, while also helping foster a positive and engaged office environment.In addition to core HR and payroll responsibilities, this role will serve as a key office ambassador by coordinating team events, maintaining the corporate calendar, and helping support employee morale and engagement across the company. This person will also assist with certain light bookkeeping and administrative finance processes in close partnership with the Corporate Controller and CFO.Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll AdministrationOwn accurate and timely payroll processing for all employeesReview employee changes, compensation updates, deductions, garnishments, benefits elections, reimbursements, and payroll inputs for completeness and accuracyMaintain payroll records and supporting documentation with a high standard of confidentialityCoordinate with internal leadership and external payroll partners to resolve discrepancies and ensure payroll complianceSupport reporting tied to payroll, benefits, deductions, and employee status changesBenefits and HR AdministrationAdminister employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and employee questionsServe as a reliable point of contact for employees regarding benefits, payroll, policies, and general HR supportMaintain personnel files, HR records, and documentation in an organized and compliant mannerCoordinate employee communications related to benefits, policy acknowledgments, deadlines, and required formsSupport the administration of leave requests, employee status changes, and other routine HR processesOnboarding and OffboardingOwn the employee onboarding and offboarding process from offer acceptance through separationCoordinate new hire paperwork, payroll forms, benefit forms, orientation materials, and employee file setupHelp ensure completion of required employment documentation, acknowledgments, and system access coordinationManage offboarding documentation, final process steps, and cross-functional handoffs with payroll, IT, and leadershipCreate a welcoming, organized, and professional employee transition experienceEmployee Support and Office Ambassador ResponsibilitiesAct as an approachable and professional bridge between employees and the organizationHelp reinforce a respectful, communicative, and well-supported workplace environmentCoordinate office morale initiatives, team events, celebrations, and employee engagement activitiesMaintain and help organize the corporate Confidentiality, and Process DisciplineHandle confidential compensation, payroll, benefits, and personnel information with discretion and maturitySupport policy distribution, employee acknowledgments, and process trackingEscalate sensitive employee matters appropriately while handling routine HR administration independentlyHelp ensure HR and payroll processes are documented, repeatable, timely, and audit-readyPartner with leadership to strengthen consistency, communication, and employee process executionCross-Functional Finance and Administrative SupportProvide light bookkeeping and administrative support as needed in coordination with the Corporate Controller and CFOAssist with reconciliations, reporting support, employee-related financial documentation, or other administrative tasks tied to payroll and people operationsHelp ensure strong handoff and alignment between HR, payroll, and finance workflowsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, or related field preferred5+ years of relevant experience in HR administration, payroll, people operations, office management, or a similar roleDemonstrated experience processing payroll and administering employee benefitsStrong understanding of confidentiality, employee records management, and HR process disciplineExperience with onboarding, offboarding, and employee support in a growing business environmentStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage sensitive details accurately and consistentlyComfortable balancing employee-facing responsibilities with administrative precisionExperience supporting office events, engagement, and internal coordination preferredExposure to bookkeeping, reconciliations, or finance-adjacent support work is a plusExperience with HRIS,
