The Human Resources Coordinator, Field supports the execution of HR programs and day-to-day HR operations for restaurant field teams. This role serves as a key point of contact for managers and employees, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent HR support across assigned markets.The HR Coordinator supports employee relations, compliance, employee journey touchpoints, performance processes, and overall employee experience, while escalating complex or sensitive matters as appropriate.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport day-to-day HR operations at the restaurant level, serving as a primary HR contact for managers and employees on routine HR mattersLead employee relations cases, including intake, documentation, follow-ups, and coordination of investigations and escalate when is appropriate.Maintain strong knowledge of California labor laws and employment compliance requirements, including wage and hour regulations, meal and rest break rules, leave laws, harassment prevention, and workplace posting requirements; provide guidance to ensure compliance across assigned locations.Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures, and employment practices across assigned locationsSupport onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle transactions, ensuring data accuracy and timely processing in HR systemsAssist with compliance initiatives, including audits, postings, required documentation, and recordkeepingAssist the Benefits team with the leave administration processesSupport performance management processes by tracking documentation, timelines, and required follow-upsCollaborate with HR, Training, and Talent Acquisition teams to support staffing needs, training rollouts, and employee engagement initiativesSupport engagement, recognition, and culture initiatives at the field levelMaintain accurate and organized employee files and documentationConducts open houses, job fairs and other recruiting sourcesAssists with new store openings, hiring, documentation and onboardingAnalyzes local labor market and identifies special market dynamics to collaborate developing sourcing and hiring tactics, ensures all hiring decision makers abide to the Company hiring objectivesSupport projects/initiatives as assignedPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred3 to 5 years of progressive HR experience in a coordinator, generalist, or field HR support rolePrior experience supporting multi-unit restaurant, retail, or hospitality operations strongly preferredWorking knowledge of HR practices and multi-state employment laws, specifically in California and Las Vegas.Strong organizational, follow-up, and execution skillsAbility to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretionStrong interpersonal and communication skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Bilingual (English-Spanish) is requiredQSR experience is requiredTravel: 50% in restaurant visits
