This position blends precision, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure accurate pay, compliant processes, and scalable systems that support organizational growth.ResponsibilitiesExecute biweekly payroll for a multi-state employee population using an HRIS platformEnsure accuracy of earnings, deductions, and tax withholdings while maintaining compliance across jurisdictionsReconcile payroll outputs with financial records and resolve discrepancies in partnership with FinanceAdminister garnishments, audits, quarterly filings, and year-end reporting requirementsMaintain and monitor integrations between payroll systems and external benefits providersOversee benefits data accuracy, including eligibility, deductions, and vendor file feedsPerform monthly reconciliations of benefits invoices and investigate variancesAnalyze payroll and benefits data to identify trends, improve workflows, and support reporting needsQualifications3-5+ years of payroll experience, including multi-state processingHands-on experience with UKG or a comparable HRIS/payroll systemStrong Excel skills, including advanced formulas, lookups, and data analysisExperience working with cross-functional teams in HR, Finance, or OperationsDetail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, organization, and follow-throughAbility to identify inefficiencies and contribute to process improvement initiatives
