We're hiring a Production & Operations Manager to own our production pipeline end-to-end "” from sampling and approvals through to reorders and margin performance.This role sits at the intersection of product, production, and commerce. We need someone who understands clothes, reads numbers, and takes full accountability for keeping product moving and profitable.Role DescriptionThe Production & Operations Manager is responsible for running Hypland's production pipeline from end to end. This means owning the annual production calendar, managing factory relationships across LA, Mexico, and China, overseeing sampling and approvals, placing POs, and ensuring every product launches on time. Beyond execution, this role carries a commercial responsibility "” tracking inventory, building reorder projections, and constantly protecting margin to make sure Hypland always has strong product available to sell. You'll work directly with the founder and design team, sitting at the center of how product gets made, launched, and replenished.This role owns three things:Production "” Own the calendar. Manage factories in LA, Mexico, and China. Nothing ships late.Product "” Oversee sampling, strike-offs, and approvals. Know what good looks like before bulk runs.Commerce "” Drive reorders, build accurate projections, and protect margin at every stage.What you'll do:"” Own the full production calendar across all launches, collabs, and reorders"” Manage day-to-day factory communication across LA, Mexico, and China"” Coordinate with design to ensure tech packs and artwork are complete and factory-ready"” Oversee the full sampling process "” construction review, fit, strike-off approvals, and bulk sign-off"” Place and manage POs with accuracy across styles, quantities, colorways, and delivery windows"” Track inventory and sell-through to build reorder projections and ensure product availability"” Monitor landed cost and margin at every stage "” flag anything that erodes profitability"” Maintain a real-time production tracker for full visibility across all active styles"” Coordinate inbound freight and delivery with existing logistics partners"” Align production timelines with licensor approval windows and retail deadlinesWhat we're looking for:"” 3-6+ years of apparel production experience across cut & sew and screenprint/embroidery"” Solid understanding of garment construction, tech packs, and the full sampling-to-bulk workflow"” Commercial instincts "” you understand sell-through, reorder logic, landed cost, and margin protection"” Experience building production trackers, reorder forecasts, and managing data-driven decisions"” Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent styles and vendors without missing a window"” Strong communicator across time zones "” factories, design, and leadership"” Highly organized, proactive, and accountable "” you flag problems early and own outcomes"” Experience in streetwear, licensed merch, or branded collaborations is a strong plus"” Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel; Airtable or ApparelMagic experience a bonusTo apply: Send your resume, a brief breakdown of production programs you've managed, and your approach to reorders and margin to hyplandjobs@
