Position OverviewMAG is seeking a highly driven and technically advanced Automation Integration Specialist to lead the deployment, integration, and stabilization of automation systems within live production environments.This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused on making systems work in real-world conditions. You will operate as a key technical leader during commissioning and launch phases, ensuring systems are stable, reliable, and production-ready before handoff to long-term support teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDeployment & Launch LeadershipLead on-site commissioning of AMRs and automation systems (mapping, calibration, mission setup)Own system readiness from deployment through stabilizationEnsure systems meet performance expectations before customer handoffCoordinate with engineering, technology, and operations teams to meet project milestonesSystem IntegrationIntegrate automation systems with PLCs, MES, scanners, docking stations, and IT infrastructureConfigure and validate fleet management systems and communication interfacesTroubleshoot system-to-system communication issues and ensure data flow integrityAdvanced Troubleshooting & Technical OwnershipServe as the primary escalation point during system launchDiagnose and resolve complex software, controls, network, and hardware issuesLead root cause analysis and drive permanent corrective actionsMaintain composure and leadership in high-pressure production environmentsTechnology Development & InnovationSupport development of internal tools, dashboards, and automation workflowsEvaluate and implement new technologies to improve system performanceIdentify opportunities to reduce manual intervention and increase reliabilityDocumentation & StandardsDevelop and maintain system documentation (layouts, interfaces, procedures)Log issues, recovery methods, and configuration changes within MAG systemsEnsure adherence to cybersecurity, network, and system integrity standardsTraining & HandoffTrain customer teams and MAG personnel on system operation and recoveryProvide structured communication during launches and shift transitionsDeliver complete system handoff packages to support teamsProduction SupportSupport operations during launch, ramp-up, and stabilization phasesMonitor system performance and production impactCommunicate risks and system status to stakeholders and leadershipWhat We're Looking ForRequired Skills & ExperienceExperience with automation systems, AMRs/AGVs, or industrial roboticsStrong understanding of system integration (PLC, networking, software interfaces)Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving abilityAbility to work in fast-paced, high-pressure production environmentsStrong communication and leadership skills on-site with customersPreferred ExperienceExperience with fleet management systems or automation software platformsExposure to MES systems, industrial networking, or controls systemsPrevious commissioning or launch experience in manufacturing environmentsWork Environment & ExpectationsOn-site role supporting active manufacturing facilitiesExpected to work up to ~50+ hours per week, aligned with customer production schedulesMust be available for day, night, and weekend shifts as requiredTravel required both in and out of country, based on project assignments
