We're partnering with a well-established organization to hire a Director of Human Resources to lead and evolve the company's HR function. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving strategy across talent, compliance, employee relations, and organizational development.The right candidate will bring both a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach, with the ability to influence leadership while building scalable HR programs.Responsibilities:Lead and implement company-wide HR policies, programs, and initiativesOversee full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and retention strategiesPartner with executive leadership on employee relations, performance management, and workforce planningManage compensation structures, salary benchmarking, and internal equityCollaborate with finance leadership on payroll, budgeting, and benefits strategyOversee employee benefits programs including health, retirement, and wellness initiativesEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulationsHandle complex employee relations matters, investigations, and disciplinary actionsLead risk management efforts including workers' compensation, safety programs, and claimsDrive training, leadership development, and employee engagement initiativesMaintain HR systems, reporting, and data integrity across HRIS platformsManage HR budget and provide recommendations on staffing and compensationServe as a liaison with legal counsel, auditors, and external partnersQualifications7-10+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibilityStrong background in employee relations, compliance, and organizational developmentExperience managing HR teams within a complex or multi-department organizationDeep knowledge of employment laws, benefits administration, and HR best practicesExperience with HRIS systems and data-driven decision makingStrong communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadershipBachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related fieldHR certification required (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent); senior-level certification preferred
