Position OverviewThis role serves as a hands-on HR partner supporting retail business growth in the U.S., with a strong focus on frontline recruitment, payroll & benefits administration, and daily HR operations. The ideal candidate combines execution excellence with business partnership to support a fast-growing retail organization.Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition (50% - Retail Focus)Lead end-to-end recruitment for retail frontline and corporate roles, with a focus on store hiringPartner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and deliver effective sourcing and hiring strategies.Build and maintain strong talent pipelines to support new store openings and ongoing retail expansion.Track recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire) and continuously improve hiring efficiency and candidate experience.Payroll & Benefits (30%)Manage end-to-end payroll coordination, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state (especially California), and local regulations.Administer employee benefits programs (health, 401(k), leave policies), ensuring competitiveness and smooth employee experience.Partner with Finance and external vendors (e.g., payroll providers, brokers) to ensure proper processing, reporting, and compliance.Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and compensation matters.HR Operations & Employee Relations (20%)Support daily HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and HRIS maintenance.Address employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant practices aligned with company policies and U.S. labor laws.Partner with business leaders to support employee engagement, and team effectiveness.Maintain HR policies, reporting, and documentation to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.QualificationsBachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or related field5+ years of HR experience, with strong exposure to retail environments (multi-store preferred)Proven experience in high-volume retail recruiting and frontline hiringHands-on experience in payroll coordination and benefits administration in the U.S.Solid knowledge of U.S. employment laws, especially California labor regulationsExperience working in a fast-paced, growing organizationSkills & CompetenciesStrong execution and ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilityComfortable working hands-on while also supporting strategic initiativesHigh level of integrity and ability to handle confidential informationPassion for sports and retail
