The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee all aspects of food quality and safety within our production facility. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with federal and state food safety standards, implementing and managing quality assurance programs, conducting audits, and training staff on best practices. The role also involves monitoring production processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions to maintain high-quality standards.QualificationsExperience in quality assurance, food safety, and regulatory compliance within the food manufacturing industryKnowledge of quality management systems, including HACCP and GMPsStrong organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skillsLeadership and team management experience, with the ability to train and guide staff effectivelyProficiency in data analysis and reporting related to quality metricsFamiliarity with standards and regulations from agencies such as FDA, USDA, or SQFStrong written and verbal communication skillsBachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Quality Assurance, or a related field preferredPrevious experience in bakery or similar food production environments is a plus
