We're hiring: Senior Audio Visual (AV) Design EngineerLocation: Denver, COJob Type: Full-TimeSalary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 Range depends on experience, certifications (CTS-D), and leadership scope.CCS Presentation Systems - CO | WY is looking for a Senior AV Design Engineer to lead the design and engineering of complex, high-impact audiovisual systems across enterprise, healthcare, education, and government environments.If you thrive in technically challenging environments and enjoy turning client needs into fully engineered, scalable AV solutions, this role is built for you.What you'll do:Lead end-to-end design of complex AV systems (conference rooms, auditoriums, divisible spaces, command centers, and more)Produce detailed engineering documentation (signal flow diagrams, rack elevations, floor plans, BOMs)Collaborate closely with Sales, Project Management, and Installation teams from concept through commissioningParticipate in client discovery, site surveys, and technical presentationsSupport RFP responses and develop value-engineered solutionsTroubleshoot complex system design and implementation challengesHelp define and maintain engineering standards and best practicesStay current on emerging technologies like AV-over-IP and unified communications platformsWhat we're looking for:5+ years of AV design engineering experience in an integration environmentStrong proficiency in AutoCAD and VisioDeep knowledge of AV signal flow, control systems (Crestron, Extron, QSC), DSPs, and video distributionExperience with enterprise clients and complex environmentsAbility to interpret architectural, electrical, and network drawingsStrong communication and client-facing skillsPreferred:CTS-D certificationExperience with AV-over-IP (Dante, NVX, NDI, etc.)Familiarity with networking concepts (VLANs, QoS, multicast)Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Cisco UC platformsLeadership or mentoring experienceWhy CCS?Strong regional reputation with national backing High-impact, technically challenging projects Collaborative, no-silo culture between sales, engineering, and operations Opportunity to shape standards and mentor the next generation of engineersIf you're ready to take ownership of complex designs and help shape engineering excellence, we'd like to talk.
