Portfolio Operations Analyst - Asset Management

My Client, A Global Asset Manager is seeking to hire a specialist portfolio accounting analyst to join their Portfolio Accounting team in Milwaukee. The ideal candidate will have experience in portfolio accounting or a related operations role, with ability to identify and implement improvements, particularly those that strengthen controls and reduce risk.Responsibilities:Drive improvements across portfolio accounting and performance functions.Support the rollout of new products and services within project teams.Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations, ensuring alignment across systems and custodians.Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.Lead escalations with custodians and stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and address root causes.Identify opportunities to reduce risk and improve efficiency across core accounting processes, including reconciliations.Collaborate with team members to manage responsibilities and maintain consistent operations.Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls.Communicate effectively with custodians, operations, investment teams, and relationship managers.Qualifications:Experience in mid or back office roles including trade support, performance, portfolio operations, and client administrationExperience with Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX), Bloomberg, CRD, Wall Street Office (WSO) and SS&C Recon.Advanced experience with MS Excel and general facility with technology tools such as MS Access and Power BICompetitive salary + bonus and benefitsPlease get in touch :Joe KeaneRed Island RecruitmentJoekeane@Mobile - 0874084484
