Machine Design Engineer

We have 2 contract positions available. Must work onsite, no remote or hybrid option. One located in Nashville, TN and the other near Columbus, OH. Both positions are for Automated Machine Design Engineers and require the same skill set:Clients are looking for Automated Machine Design Engineer to work from concept through to production of custom automated systems. Experience designing high speed automated components, robotics (stand alone and gripper robotics), servos, pick/place units, end of arm tooling, etc... Candidates must have 7+ years of experience designing automated equipment. Must have 4+ years using Solidworks and experience with Solidworks PDM. Strong knowledge of GD&T.The Columbus, OH position is a contract to direct position and requires the candidate to have a degree in engineering. Candidate would get involved with testing and some FEA calculations.The Nashville, TN position the degree is a plus, not a must. No FEA experience is necessary. Candidate must have strong experience working from concept through to manufacturing.Both positions work on ITAR projects so candidate must be US Citizenship or hold a Green Card.
