OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Operations Associate to support day-to-day administrative, HR, and operational functions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is process-driven, and can manage sensitive information with discretion.Key ResponsibilitiesManage employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and new hire orientation Prepare, distribute, and maintain offer letters and employee agreements Track and support the employee performance review process, ensuring timely completion Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records; document employee-related matters as needed Assist with unemployment claims and employee benefits administration, coordinating with external partners as needed Manage and track state registrations and filings to support ongoing compliance requirements Support insurance administration, including documentation, renewals, and coordination with providers Support HR compliance initiatives, including maintaining required workplace postings and tracking adherence to meal and rest break policiesSupport payroll administration, including reviewing timesheets, ensuring data accuracy, and coordinating payroll through GustoOversee and complete administrative tasks within the Gusto platform Assist with 1099 processing and preparation of year-end tax documentation Support recruiting operations, including LinkedIn management, interview coordination, and candidate communication Provide general administrative and operational support across departments Monitor key business registration, permit and license deadlines and execute required filings Support sales tax registration and assist in compiling data for tax reporting Qualifications & Skills· 3-5 years of relevant industry experience required· Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with data· Financially savvy with a strong understanding of business operations· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal· Highly detail-oriented and process-driven· Quick learner with the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment· Trustworthy and capable of handling confidential and sensitive informationPreferred Attributes· Strong organizational and time management skills· Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively· Proactive mindset with a problem-solving approach
