Duties & Responsibilities:Responsible for day-to-day operations relating to the handling and customs clearance of international shipmentsClassification of shipments and preparation of entry documentation specifically related to Wine & Spirits importationKnowledge of FDA filing and other PGA's and familiar with CBP regulationsWork closely and in conjunction with the Brokerage/ Branch / Compliance Manager to ensure efficiency in all processes within the company and department. Communicate with US Customs officials and other government agencies as deemed necessarySchedule pickups and deliveries on the brokerage only filesRespond to internal and external (customer) requestsEnter shipment and billing data into operational systemsAssist with payment requests and customer billing as neededDemonstrated stress tolerance and flexibility to changing prioritiesPrepare and post PSCRequirements:Bachelor's Degree is preferredPreferred - active Customs Brokerage License3+ years Customs Brokerage import experience with an extensive and broad range of commodities. Familiarity with ADD/ CVD, FDA, EPA, F & W, CBMA, FAA, TTBEmployee must have basic user knowledge of computer programs such as Excel, Word and OutlookExperience with Editrade is a plusProven analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent team-building skills and ability to train staffStrategic planning experienceStrong organization skills and ability to multitaskProven professionalism and reliabilityStrong mathematical skills, such as appropriately add and compute fees, percentages, taxes, currency conversions, weight, cube, measures, U.S. Customs and other agency fees. Knowledge of TTB and related agencies is a plusIn Office Position- non remote.
