Coda Search is partnering with a fast-growing health-tech firm with offices located in Boston. The team is seeking an Associate Buyer / Procurement Associate to support and enhance its end-to-end procurement function. This individual will play a key role in managing purchasing activities, vendor relationships, and procurement operations across the organization, while also partnering closely with the Director of Procurement on process improvements and system optimization.This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day procurement and purchasing process across the organizationManage the full lifecycle of purchase orders (creation, approval, tracking, and reconciliation)Serve as a key point of contact for vendor management, including onboarding, communication, and performance trackingEnsure procurement activities align with company policies, budgets, and compliance standardsPartner with internal stakeholders (finance, operations, IT, etc.) to support purchasing needs and optimize spendMaintain accurate procurement records and documentation within the company's procurement system (ZIP)Assist in negotiating pricing, contracts, and service agreements with vendorsSupport invoice reconciliation and collaborate with Accounts Payable to resolve discrepanciesAnalyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvementsWork closely with the Director to streamline workflows, enhance procurement processes, and implement best practicesQualifications3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or sourcing rolesExperience working with procurement platforms (ZIP strongly preferred)Strong understanding of purchase order processes, vendor management, and procurement operationsExcellent organizational skills with strong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Excel and procurement/reporting toolsExperience in a healthcare, health-tech, or regulated environment is a plus
