This role is ideal for someone experienced, thoughtful, and self-directed"”someone who enjoys bringing clarity and structure to a fast-moving environment, and is looking for meaningful, part-time work.About the RoleThis is not a task-based administrative role.You will act as the organizational hub around the CEO, helping manage communication, streamline information, and ensure that important work moves forward.The right person will take ownership, exercise judgment, and reduce the day-to-day friction that comes with running a multi-unit business. Key ResponsibilitiesCommunication & Inbox ManagementReview and triage CEO inbox dailyDraft responses and handle routine communicationRoute requests to appropriate team membersEnsure timely follow-up on important itemsCalendar & SchedulingManage CEO calendar and schedulingCoordinate internal leadership meetings and external appointmentsEnsure meetings are well-prepared and purposefulInformation & Document OrganizationOrganize and maintain Dropbox systems across the organizationCreate clear, intuitive folder structures and naming conventionsEnsure key documents are easy to locate and useAdministrative & Project SupportManage business certifications, licensing, and documentationAssist with investor and business materialsSupport special projects and researchTrack action items and follow up when neededWhat Success Looks LikeThe CEO's inbox is manageable and prioritizedScheduling is smooth and efficientDocuments are easy to find and well-organizedImportant tasks and follow-ups don't get lostThe CEO is able to focus more on leadership and operationsWho This Role Is ForThis role is a great fit for someone who:Has significant professional experience (often 5-10+ years)Has supported a founder, executive, or small leadership teamIs highly organized and comfortable creating systems from scratchExercises strong judgment and doesn't need constant directionCommunicates clearly and professionallyEnjoys working independently and taking ownershipSuccessful candidates for this role are:Experienced Executive AssistantsFormer Chiefs of Staff or operations leaders looking for a more focused roleProfessionals stepping back from full-time work but still wanting meaningful responsibilityExperienced in communications, marketing, or community organizingRole DetailsPart-time: approximately 20-25 hours per weekFlexible schedule, with some daily availability preferredOn-Site; some hybrid possibleCompensation: $28-36/hour, depending on experienceCan start immediately Applicant must be Twin Cities-basedWhy This Role MattersThis role directly impacts the effectiveness of the CEO and the organization as a whole.
