Video/Podcast Engineer

Melrose Podcasts is hiring a part-time Video/Podcast Engineer for our Los Angeles studio. This is a video-first role with audio responsibilities "” we record video podcasts in-studio and need someone who can run the technical side of sessions end-to-end.What you'll do:• Operate cameras during recording sessions (typically 1-4 cameras per shoot)• Run our ATEM switcher for live multicam• Capture and monitor audio (typically 1-4 microphones per session)• Hand off organized media to post after each sessionGear / software we use:• Sony FX3 cameras• Blackmagic ATEM switcher• Sound Devices MixPre-10 II recorder• Mac Studio• Adobe PremiereWhat we're looking for:• Hands-on experience as a video engineer (video podcast or studio interview a plus)• Comfort operating cameras and live switching with ATEM• Working knowledge of audio capture in a recording environment• Calm, professional presence "” you'll be in the room with talent• Los Angeles-based and able to work on-siteSchedule: Part-time, ongoing, with sessions booked across the week.Pay: $50 per hour of recorded session time. Setup and breakdown are not billed separately.
