Laboratory Technician

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a biotech company in the Durham area who is hiring a Laboratory Technician to join their team. This is a contract opportunity, working Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.Responsibilities:Assemble and prepare tubing sets and materials for scaffold productionWrap and stage materials for autoclaving and sterilizationSet up lab stations prior to scaffold launchesPerform post-run take down activities, including disassembly and material handlingRemove and weld off components as requiredTake photos and record basic notes for documentationPrepare routine lab solutions as scheduledMaintain strict aseptic technique and lab cleanliness standardsSupport increased scaffold production from one to two days per weekRequirement:Experience working in a laboratory or clean/controlled environmentStrong understanding of and attention to aseptic techniqueAbility to perform repetitive, hands-on tasks consistentlyComfort following established procedures and instructionsBasic documentation skills (notes, photos)Education requirement: AS or BS Degree Preferred. HS Degree with experience will be considered.
