You'll be part of a founding team shaping the future of osteopathic medical education, where your voice, expertise, and leadership directly influence institutional growth and student success.To succeed as the Director of Admissions, you should have:Bachelor's degree required (Master's preferred) in higher education administration, public administration, or related field with progressive admissions and enrollment management experience3-5+ years of experience in higher education admissions, enrollment strategy, or health professions education with demonstrated leadership and team supervision capabilitiesProficiency in admissions CRM platforms, student information systems (SIS), and data reporting tools, with advanced analytical, organizational, and process management skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to collaborate with academic and administrative teams and travel for recruitment events, conferences, and institutional partnershipsYour responsibilities as the Director of Admissions will include: Lead end-to-end medical school admissions operations, including application review, interview management, selection, acceptance, and matriculation aligned with AACOMAS and osteopathic medical education standardsDevelop and execute strategic enrollment management and student recruitment initiatives, including outreach, pipeline development, and partnerships with undergraduate institutions and pre-health advisorsOversee admissions CRM systems, data analytics, and reporting to monitor applicant trends, optimize yield strategies, and improve enrollment performance metricsEnsure compliance with higher education regulations, accreditation standards (COCA), and institutional policies, including audit readiness and admissions documentation managementSupervise admissions staff and manage admissions budgets, workflows, and operational processes to support scalable growth in a startup medical school environmentAbout UsAt the Niazee College of Osteopathic Medicine (NCOM), we're building a transformational, community-centered medical school grounded in osteopathic principles and whole-person care.
