Distribution Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:The Distribution Manager is responsible for leading and managing distribution operations. This role ensures the accurate and timely processing and shipment of customer orders, maintaining a high standard of service and efficiency throughout the distribution lifecycle.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead and manage the Distribution teams to ensure orders are fulfilled and shipped accurately and on time.Drive process improvements to enhance fulfillment speed, accuracy, and efficiency.Monitor distribution workflow and order processing systems to ensure service-level expectations are met.Oversee staffing levels, scheduling, and performance of all distribution employees, including full-time and temporary team members.Create, update, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to distribution operations.Ensure team adherence to company safety practices and cleanliness standards in distribution work areas.Partner cross-functionally with the rest of the Operations and Customer Success teams to align distribution priorities.Provide daily and weekly reporting on order volumes, team performance, and distribution metrics.Identify and resolve issues that may cause delays in order distribution.May perform special projects and other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:This position has direct reports.POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Strong supervisory and leadership skills.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong understanding of applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements and other related safety policies and best practices.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to monitor and maintain records and inventory.
