Job Title: National Chain ManagerBrands: BLNCD & Foundry NationPosition OverviewThe National Chain Manager will lead the development and execution of national retail strategies for BLNCD and Foundry Nation, two fast-growing hemp-derived THC brands. This role is responsible for building and managing relationships with national and regional chain accounts, driving distribution, and maximizing revenue across key retail partners. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in CPG sales, experience with regulated or emerging categories, and a proven track record of scaling brands within chain environments.Key ResponsibilitiesAccount Management & Growth? Own and manage relationships with national and regional chain buyers across convenience, grocery, mass, and specialty channels? Drive new account acquisition while expanding distribution within existing chains? Negotiate pricing, promotions, and trade agreements to maximize revenue and margin? Develop joint business plans with key accounts to achieve sales targetsSales Strategy & Execution? Execute national sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives? Identify opportunities for product placement, category expansion, and velocity improvement? Monitor and analyze sales performance, making data-driven recommendations? Collaborate with marketing to align retail programs, promotions, and launchesMarket Expansion? Support entry into new markets as regulations evolve for hemp-derived THC products? Stay informed on compliance requirements and ensure adherence across accounts? Act as a key liaison between internal teams and retail partners on regulatory considerationsCross-Functional Collaboration? Partner with marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure successful product launches and inventory flow? Provide field insights to inform product innovation and brand positioning? Work closely with distributor partners to optimize execution at store levelTravel & Representation? Travel nationally to meet with buyers, attend trade shows, and support key account initiatives? Represent BLNCD and Foundry Nation at industry events and retail meetingsQualifications? 5+ years of experience in sales or account management within CPG, beverage, cannabis, or related industries? Proven success managing national or regional chain accounts? Strong understanding of retail dynamics, trade spend, and promotional planning? Experience in regulated categories (alcohol, cannabis, hemp, or supplements) is highly preferred? Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills? Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies? Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and comfort in a fast-paced environment? Willingness to travel frequently (50%)Preferred Qualifications? Existing relationships with national chain buyers? Experience launching or scaling emerging brands?
