Your new companyA well-established retail real estate group with decades of experience, this organization owns and manages major shopping centers across several U.S. markets. With a large, growing portfolio anchored by national retailers, they focus on long-term value, strong tenant relationships, and hands-on property management as they continue expanding into new markets.Your new roleOversee financial and asset management by directing operational activities, analyzing property financials, supervising budgeting/forecasting, reviewing vendor contracts, and ensuring strategic asset plans align with organizational goals.Lead lease administration, including negotiations, renewals, relocations, compliance monitoring, and lifecycle planning for asset renewals, acquisitions, or disposals.Drive acquisition activities by sourcing and underwriting opportunities, performing financial modeling (ARGUS/Excel), preparing investment memos, coordinating due diligence, and supporting transaction structuring and negotiations.Manage property operations and maintenance, ensuring facilities are well-maintained, overseeing capital improvements, coordinating with property management, managing vendors, and monitoring AR/AP, CAM reconciliations, and operational reporting.Conduct market research and portfolio analysis using CoStar and industry data to evaluate trends, support underwriting, inform strategy, and maintain competitive market intelligence.Lead leasing and occupancy efforts by identifying tenants, negotiating leases, optimizing occupancy, and collaborating with marketing to attract and retain tenants.Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across all properties, managing lease disputes, operational legal matters, and adherence to safety, environmental, and building codes.Produce reporting, analysis, and risk management insights, including performance reports, quality assurance protocols, maintenance budget analysis, value-enhancement recommendations, and risk mitigation and emergency response planning.What you'll need to succeedBachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related discipline.At least 2 years of experience in commercial real estate and asset management, with a strong emphasis on shopping centers.Demonstrated financial expertise, including budgeting oversight and in-depth financial analysis.Proven proficiency in lease negotiations, tenant relations, and lease administration.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.Strong organizational capabilities and project management skills.Proficiency with property management platforms and financial analysis tools.What you'll get in returnAs part of our comprehensive compensation package, you'll enjoy a competitive salary, benefits, and the thrilling opportunity to be a part of our company's expansion into new markets.
