Logistics Operations Specialist - Hybrid

Operations Analyst - Remote with occasional on-site back up POSITION SUMMARYThis position supports day-to-day logistics operations within our customer's facility, with a primary focus on customer service, track and trace, and accurate data entry. The role involves coordinating outbound shipments, preparing documentation such as bills of lading, and maintaining communication with carriers and internal teams. While primarily administrative and customer-facing, the position may include occasional light warehouse support as needed.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSProvide customer service support by communicating shipment status updates to internal teams and customersPerform track and trace activities to ensure timely pickups and deliveriesPrepare and process bills of lading and other shipping documentationEnter and maintain accurate shipment and inventory data in logistics systemsCoordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and resolve any service issuesMonitor shipments and proactively escalate delays or discrepanciesAssist with receiving shipments, including greeting drivers and verifying paperworkSupport light warehouse tasks such as organizing, labeling, or staging shipments as neededMaintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipmentsPOSITION QUALIFICATIONSStrong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and carriersCustomer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellenceHigh attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentationStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasksBasic understanding of logistics, shipping, or warehouse operations preferredAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamSKILLS & ABILITIESExperience:1-2+ years of experience in logistics, customer service, or warehouse support preferredProficiency with data entry and basic computer systemsProblem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environmentPHYSICAL DEMANDSPrimarily office-based with occasional light warehouse activityAbility to lift or move items up to 50 pounds on an infrequent basisAbility to stand or walk for short periods as neededAbout MODE GlobalMODE Global is a $4B+ multimodal transportation leader, delivering comprehensive supply chain solutions across North America.
