About the CompanyOur client is a leading MEP construction firm delivering complex, large-scale infrastructure projects across the U.S. They specialise in mission-critical environments, with a strong track record in delivering high-value data centre projects for global clients.About the RoleThe Senior Project Manager will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of two large-scale data centre projects, each valued at approximately £80M. This role requires strong leadership across MEP disciplines, with a particular focus on electrical systems within mission-critical environments. You will oversee all aspects of project execution from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end delivery of two concurrent data centre projectsManage all MEP scopes, with a strong emphasis on electrical systems (LV/MV, switchgear, UPS, generators, critical power infrastructure)Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocationDrive programme performance and ensure key milestones are achievedManage client relationships and act as the primary point of contactCoordinate with design teams, consultants, and subcontractorsEnsure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standardsMonitor project financials, including budgets, forecasts, and cost controlLead project teams, including Project Managers, Engineers, and site staffSupport commissioning and handover processes for mission-critical facilitiesQualificationsProven experience as a Senior Project Manager within MEP constructionStrong track record delivering data centre or mission-critical projectsElectrical bias is essential (background in electrical engineering or trade)Experience managing large-scale projects (£50M+ / $75M+)Deep understanding of critical systems (UPS, generators, BMS, power distribution)Strong commercial and contractual awarenessExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple high-value projects simultaneouslyPreferred SkillsExperience working in the U.S. construction marketDegree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldFamiliarity with commissioning processes in data centresExperience with Tier III / Tier IV facilitiesPay range and compensation packageCompetitive base salary (USD)Bonus structureRelocation support (if applicable)Full benefits package
