Our client, a Japanese Food Distributor, is searching for a Japanese Bilingual Office Coordinator to join their team.Title: Japanese Bilingual Office CoordinatorIndustry: Food DistributionType: Full Time Direct Hire(8am-5pm)Location: El Monte, CASalary: $23-$28/hr (DOE)QUALIFICATIONS:Business level English and Japanese required1+ years of relevant experience required, 3+ years preferredProfessional attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Flexible and able to handle changing priorities and workloadsWillingness to complete Sake Adviser and Sake Sommelier course within the first yearFamiliarity with tools like WordPress, Zoom, Teams, QuickBooks, and Microsoft OfficeStrong organizational, communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities, along with attention to detail and basic math skillsKnowledge of Japanese foods and sakes preferred.JOB DUTIES:Manage program registrations and keep track of updates from various wine and spirits organizations and schoolsHelp organize and run sake-related events, tastings, and educational sessionsReview and update learning materials, including textbooks and presentation slidesSet up classrooms, support instructors, and oversee exams when neededHandle logistics such as ordering supplies, preparing course materials, and shipping items.Maintain websites, social media, newsletters, and respond promptly to inquiries.Perform administrative duties like record-keeping, basic accounting, reporting, and assisting the team or management as requiredAttend Sake School events and company events and functions outside of normal working hours Please submit your application with a 1-2 page resume.
