Position SummaryGrowing manufacturing company in the Austin metropolitan area is looking for a Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist to join their team on a direct hire basis. This position will be responsible for procurement and negotiation of materials, components, equipment, supplies, and services that meet quality standards. This role will manage planning requirements and supply chain activities to ensure timely delivery of goods and services within budget. The position requires independent judgment, strong planning capabilities, and the ability to execute effectively.Hybrid Work Opportunity: Work from home two days and three days onsite per weekKey Responsibilities:Strategic ProcurementSupport the development and execution of purchasing strategies for raw materials, components, and services used in advanced medical productsCollaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to forecast demand and optimize inventorySupplier ManagementIdentify and evaluate suppliers aligned with innovation and compliance standardsManage supplier relationships to ensure reliability and cost efficiencyCompliance & QualityEnsure procurement activities meet all regulatory and compliance requirementsMonitor supplier performance and support quality audits as neededCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with operations, R&D, sourcing, and finance teams to support product development and launch timelinesReporting & AnalyticsTrack KPIs, cost savings, and supplier performance metricsMaintain accurate records and reporting through ERP systemsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field5+ years of purchasing experience in a regulated industryStrong knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards (e.g., FDA, ISO)Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skillsTravel RequirementsUp to 25%Preferred QualificationsProfessional certification (e.g., CPSM, CPM)Passion for innovation and continuous improvementAdditional InformationCandidates must have current and future authorization to work in the United States without sponsorshipBenefits OverviewMedical, dental, and vision insuranceHealth savings and flexible spending accounts401(k) planPaid time off and holidaysAdditional voluntary benefits
