Information Technology Business Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTIONWe are seeking a Business Analyst in either Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC. This role is onsite 3 days per week. This person will partner on a day-to-day with business stakeholders and technology teams to gather requirements and translate them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria. This BA will work closely with the Product Owner and development team during Agile ceremonies to refine features, clarify scope, and ensure work is build ready. This role will support testing efforts by answering questions during UAT/SIT and helping determine whether issues are defects or new requirements. The right person will continuously review current processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE5+ years of experience as an IT Business AnalystStrong experience gathering, documenting, and refining business requirementsHands-on Agile/Scrum experience (writing epics, features, and user stories)Ability to work closely with developers and testers to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria Experience supporting UAT/SIT and helping distinguish defects vs. new requirementsStrong communication skills (written and verbal); comfortable facilitating discussionsExperience analyzing current processes, identifying gaps, and recommending improvements Familiarity with JIRA or similar Agile tools
