This role serves as the authority on electrical safety, energization planning, and QA/QC, ensuring safe installation, inspection, and energization of medium- and high-voltage power systems.This is a highly visible leadership position focused on risk management, compliance, training, and operational excellence across multiple active projects.Responsibilities:Develop, review, and approve site-specific electrical safety and energization plansPerform pre-energization inspections and authorize energization activitiesServe as a subject matter expert for electrical safety, NFPA 70E, NEC, LOTO, and Arc FlashConduct independent electrical QA/QC audits and safety inspectionsReview Arc Flash and Short Circuit Studies, NETA reports, AHAs, and MOPsDeliver NFPA 70E and Lockout/Tagout training to project teamsPerform root cause analysis for electrical safety incidentsSupport multiple concurrent projects and collaborate with operations and safety leadershipMentor and train team members on critical power system constructionAct as a client liaison for electrical safety and energization initiativesRepresent the client at industry events and safety-focused engagementsPreferred Qualifications:10+ years of experience in Mechanical or Electrical System Construction10+ years combined experience in at least one of the following:Mission Critical or Hospital ConstructionMEP Project ManagementMechanical/Electrical Start-Up and Commissioning10+ years of experience with medium-voltage construction, energization, and power distributionElectrical Journeyman LicenseNFPA 70E CertificationOSHA 30Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) CertificationPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)Experience with Procore, BIM 360, CX-Alloy TQ, Bluebeam, Adobe, JD EdwardsFamiliarity with scheduling tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or SureTrakProven ability to train, mentor, and lead construction teamsStrong communication, analytical, and risk-management skillsWhy this opportunity?High-impact role influencing critical power and energization decisionsExposure to mission-critical and complex electrical environmentsLeadership visibility and cross-functional collaborationOpportunity to shape safety practices across multiple projects
