Electrical Mechanical Assembler

Beyond TalentEdge has a direct hire opportunity for an Electrical Mechanical Assembler. Our client is a leader in manufacturing and distribution.The Electrical Mechanical Assembler is responsible for the assembly of control panels. Assembler utilizes stock electrical and mechanical components to build custom panels per job instructions. Works with little or no supervision. Interaction with Technicians or Engineering Department may be required depending on complexity of the design.Responsibilities:Build or assemble non-electrified and electrified components by following the specified directions from the job paperworkRequired to test and initial electrified components for functionSubmit requests for replacement tooling or suppliesDebug and trouble shoot electrical problemsComplete inventory cycle counts as neededEnsure all documents are filled out completelyAll other duties as assigned by managementDesired Skills and Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredMust be able to pass truck and crane certification with training upon hireComputer knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and other computer programsAbility to read tape measureAbility to read a blueprintAbility to use hand tools requiring dexterityMust be able to communicate effectively with factory supervisionWork Environment:ADA Physical/Mental/Workplace RequirementsAble to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Able to stand (75%); walk (20%); stoop, kneel or crouch (5%), as required.Able to climb portable laddersAble to wear safety glasses and foot protection throughout shift.Able to wear hearing protectors (ear plugs) throughout the shift while working in an environment with moderate noise levels.Salary:$17.00 - $26.00 per hour"Beyond TalentEdge is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
