Hino is looking for a self-driven, detail-oriented, and analytical Parts Operations Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will lead the coordination, development, and ongoing support of aftermarket and OE parts programs, while leveraging inventory planning, forecasting, purchasing, and reporting capabilities to drive program success.The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting program launches, pricing strategies, and promotional initiatives, while ensuring inventory health, supplier performance, and data integrity.Core Responsibilities Include:Aftermarket Programs & Sales EnablementLead the development, launch, and ongoing maintenance of aftermarket parts and accessory programs, managing the full lifecycle from concept through go-liveDrive product selection, program structure, and channel support for aftermarket and accessory product linesCoordinate with suppliers for vendor development and program executionIdentify, implement, and refresh improvements and marketing initiatives for existing programsDevelop and execute promotional strategies and materials for parts programsCoordinate with suppliers to develop training content and materials for OE and aftermarket parts programsSupport sales development activities related to parts and accessoriesCreate and maintain parts catalogs and program documentationForecasting, Order and Inventory ManagementUtilize demand analysis to forecast replenishment parts accuratelyMaintain and update lead times and safety stock to ensure timely material flowReview and maintain MRP integrity for a viable inventory planControl and report inventory turns for assigned partsOptimize inventory performance, focusing on turnover and obsolescence exposure controlAnalyze stock adjustments and conduct variance analysis for inventory accuracyTrack service campaigns to ensure proper parts coverageSeek maximum recovery for surplus and obsolete inventoryAnalyze and process inventory returns from dealersSupplier Relationship and PurchasingNegotiate with vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and availabilitySolicit and evaluate quotations, place purchase orders, and follow up on supplier commitmentsDevelop and maintain support documents and spreadsheets for informed buying decisionsFile claims with suppliers when necessaryReporting and AnalysisTrack and report on program performance, sales results, and promotional effectiveness across aftermarket and accessory product linesPrepare and distribute reports based on set cadence, covering areas such as purchase orders, inventory, margins, and other key performance indicatorsAnalyze and resolve planning and scheduling issues with cross-functional departmentsCreate monthly reports on price variance, delivery conditions, project status, and other performance criteriaValidate data related to parts purchased, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of supersession information in the system, and confirming it aligns with reports and recordsGenerate ad hoc reports per management requestsCollaboration and CommunicationCollaborate with internal teams including Customer Service, Warehouse Team, Parts Sales/Marketing, Hino Field Personnel, Manufacturing, and FinanceFoster strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers, dealer parts managers, and occasionally dealer principalsPreferred Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Relevant certifications (CSCP, CPIM) or work experience will also be consideredExperience: Minimum of 2 years of analysis experience. Inventory planning and purchasing experience is preferredSkills:Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectivelyGoal-oriented mindset with a commitment to task completionLogical thinking and creative problem-solving abilitiesAbility to think strategically and consider the big pictureHighly motivated, patient, and diligentProficient in mathematics and numerical analysisExcellent oral and written communication skillsSpecialized Knowledge:Well-developed computer skills, including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (e.g., pivot tables, XLOOKUP, IF).
