Your potential is our potential and together we can build and grow brands that last.KEY PURPOSE: The Associate Merchant will support the Market Merchandising team in managing a growing portfolio of SMU (Special Make-Up) and Exclusive product. This role is critical in enabling the team to operate more strategically by taking ownership of key operational and administrative merchandising tasks. Working closely with senior team members, this position will ensure accurate data management, efficient sample handling, and timely reporting, allowing the broader team to focus on commercial strategy, account engagement, and in-season agility.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Product ManagementCoordinate and manage product samples, ensuring timely tracking, organization, and distributionSupport seasonal sample workflows and cross-functional needsData Management & Systems (PLM / DeSL)Execute accurate and timely data entry across PLM and DeSL systemsMaintain product information, including forecasted units and catalog dataSupport seasonal bulk uploads and system updatesReporting & AnalysisPull and compile regular data reports to support merchandising decisionsAssist in competitive analysis through tools such as VibeIQConduct competitor online research to inform pricing, assortment, and positioningAbility to identify trends in the market and understand the marketplaceOperational SupportAssist in the creation of packaging briefsManage catalog manual entry processes during seasonal milestonesSupport merchandising team with ad hoc operational tasks as neededQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:1-3 years of experience in merchandising, buying, or a related functionStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsComfortable working with data systems (PLM, ERP, or similar tools preferred)Proficient in Excel and data handlingAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentInterest in retail, product, and market trendsThrives in a fast-paced, team-first, high-energy environment, with a positive, can-do, customer-focused attitude.
