Role: Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Level II / III)Location: Chagrin Falls, OH (On-Site)Employment Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe are seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanics to support the maintenance, repair, and inspection of construction equipment and fleet vehicles. This role involves working hands-on with a wide range of machinery and ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair mechanical issues in construction equipment, semi-trucks, trailers, and small toolsPerform routine maintenance including oil changes, brake work, engine diagnostics, and system checksTroubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systemsConduct inspections to identify equipment issues and recommend solutionsRepair or fabricate parts as needed, including welding and component modificationsMaintain accurate service and repair recordsFollow all safety protocols and report any hazardsSupport shop operations and assist with additional maintenance tasks as neededKey Qualifications2+ years of experience working on heavy construction equipment or diesel mechanicsStrong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and engine systemsExperience with heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, skid steers, and trucksAbility to diagnose and repair both minor and major mechanical issuesComfortable working in a hands-on, shop-based environmentAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding conditionsCDL is a plus but not requiredWhat We OfferCompetitive hourly payBonus potential (based on performance)Full benefits package including:Health, Dental, Vision401(k) with company matchPaid Time Off
