As a Sr. Test Technician, you will be responsible for performing various testing procedures, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the quality and functionality of our products. Key ResponsibilitiesConduct Testing ProceduresExecute a wide range of testing procedures to evaluate the performance, functionality, and reliability of large and highly complex electro-mechanical devices.. This includes conducting functional tests, stress tests, compatibility tests, and any other relevant tests as per established protocols and standards.Test EquipmentPrepare and set up test equipment, tools, and fixtures required for testing. Ensure all necessary test equipment are calibrated and maintained appropriately to ensure accurate and consistent results.TroubleshootingIdentify and troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during testing. Diagnose and resolve problems efficiently to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.Data Collection and AnalysisAccurately record test data, observations, and any abnormalities encountered during testing. Perform thorough analysis of test results, identify trends, and report any deviations from expected outcomes.DocumentationPrepare detailed test reports summarizing test procedures, results, and recommendations. Maintain accurate records of test configurations, test setups, and equipment calibration.CollaborationCollaborate with engineers to communicate testing progress, discuss test results, and suggest improvements. Provide technical insights and recommendations to improve product performance and quality.Process ImprovementContinuously evaluate and improve testing procedures, methodologies, and equipment to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reliability. Identify opportunities for automation and implement process enhancements where applicable.Quality AssuranceEnsure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.Qualifications and Skills RequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field is preferred.At least 5 years experience test technician experience preferably in medical devices, semiconductor equipment, or aeronautics. Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and computer skills.Proficient in using and maintaining various test instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical specifications, schematics, and drawings.Strong understanding of electrical and electronic circuits, components, and systems.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation abilities.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.Adherence to safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
