This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a long-term career within supply chain, operations, logistics, and international trade.This position offers direct exposure to international trade, steel manufacturing, industrial supply chains, and large-scale project coordination in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.Position SummaryCorpac Steel is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to support our Operations Team. This is a full-time, on-site position based in our office. The ideal candidate is highly organized, eager to learn, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced industrial and construction-related environment.This role will support purchasing, logistics, inventory coordination, vendor communication, shipment tracking, documentation management, and day-to-day operational support across domestic and international supply chains.ResponsibilitiesSupport daily supply chain and operations activities, such as coordinating with suppliers, mills, freight carriers, warehouses, and customers regarding shipments and delivery schedulesSupport tracking purchase orders, production schedules, inventory, and material deliveries.Assist with freight coordination, trucking logistics, and shipment schedulingPrepare and maintain operational documentation, including sales orders, purchase orders, packing lists, shipping documents, and inventory recordsCommunicate with internal departments, including sales, purchasing, accounting, and operationsReview purchase order confirmations and contracts, and support in monitoring order status and proactively identify potential delays or supply chain issuesSupport data entry and reporting within ERP systems, spreadsheets, and internal tracking toolsMaintain organized records and support continuous improvement initiatives within operationsParticipate in special projects and operational initiatives as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree requiredPreferred degree concentrations include:BusinessSupply Chain ManagementIndustrial EngineeringConstruction ManagementLogisticsMetals, manufacturing, or related industrial fieldsBilingual English / Spanish requiredStrong organizational and communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills requiredAbility to work in a fast-paced project-driven environmentAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesDetail-oriented with strong follow-through and accountabilityProficiency in Microsoft 365 suite, and general business softwareExperience with ERP systems, SAP a plusStrong work ethic, professionalism, and willingness to learnCareer Growth & ExposureExposure to international trade, distribution, manufacturing, and industrial supply chainsOpportunity for career advancement within operations, purchasing, logistics, and project managementHands-on experience supporting domestic and international projectsExposure to industrial procurement, logistics coordination, vendor management, and ERP systems
