Senior Manager - Legal & Contracts Reporting to: Head of FinanceScope: US Federal • State • Enterprise Customer ContractsRole OverviewAurigo is strengthening its legal and contracting leadership to support complex enterprise and government customers in the US. This role is responsible for endtoend ownership of customer contracting and negotiations, with particular depth in US federal and publicsector engagementsThis is a senior, handson role that combines legal expertise, commercial judgement, and negotiation leadership. Success requires leaders who understand government contracting dynamics, enterprise SaaS risk profiles, and how to drive complex negotiations to closure.This role establishes that leadership capability for Aurigo.Key ResponsibilitiesFederal & Enterprise Contract OwnershipLead and conclude negotiations for US federal, state, and large enterprise customer contractsOwn MSAs, SOWs, amendments, renewals, and non-standard deal structuresServe as the primary legal authority in customer negotiationsContract Architecture & GovernanceBuild and maintain structured contract frameworks across:Federal / Public SectorEnterprise CommercialStandard / scaled offeringsEnsure contracts are commercially balanced, legally sound, and aligned to customer type and deal complexityBusiness PartnershipAct as a trusted partner to Sales, Finance, and GTM leadershipProvide clear, pragmatic guidance that enables deal progression while managing riskSupport predictable and efficient deal execution for enterprise and government customersTeam & Capability LeadershipProvide senior leadership and mentorship within the contracts functionEstablish negotiation playbooks and internal guidanceManage external counsel selectively for specialised or non-routine mattersExperience & ProfileRequired10+ years of experience in enterprise software contractingDirect, hands-on experience negotiating US federal and/or state government contractsStrong working knowledge of SaaS agreements, public-sector procurement, and US contract lawDemonstrated ability to independently lead complex customer negotiationsPreferredIn-house legal experience in a government-facing or enterprise software companyExperience building scalable contracting frameworksStrong commercial judgement and stakeholder influenceEducationBachelor's and/or Master's degree in Law or a relevant field from a recognised Top-30 institution, with strong grounding in US contract lawWhat Success Looks LikeClear ownership and leadership of federal and enterprise customer contractsScalable, well-adopted contract frameworks across customer segmentsStrong credibility with Sales and Finance as a negotiation leaderReduced dependency on executive escalation for complex contractsAbout AurigoAurigo is an AI-native capital program management platform trusted by over 300 customers managing more than $300 billion in capital programs across North America.
