Job Title: Territory Sales Manager - Architectural DivisionLocation: San Antonio/Austin MarketPay Rate: $110,000 - $125,000 Base Salary + Quarterly Bonus + Car AllowanceOverviewThe company is a 20+ year old designer and manufacturer of high-end architectural acoustic solutions and performance materials. The firm is experiencing exciting and scalable growth, leading this shift from a 3rd party sales structure to developing a full-cycle, in-house, dedicated sales force.This opportunity is built for a polished, entrepreneurial sales professional from the A&D industry who thrives in front of clients and knows how to influence specifications from concept to completion.This is a field-first position ˜80% client-facing.What You'll DoBuild and deepen your existing relationships with architects, interior designers, workplace strategists, and facility planners to drive product specificationsEngage contractors and installers to uncover and convert project opportunitiesGenerate pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, and industry engagementDeliver compelling presentations, lunch-and-learns, and product demos to design professionalsInterpret architectural drawings and specifications to identify and secure opportunitiesDevelop tailored solutions aligned with design intent and acoustic performance needsManage CRM activity, tracking pipeline, specifications, and market intelligenceProvide monthly territory insights, performance updates, and strategic recommendationsCollaborate cross-functionally with marketing, engineering, and operations teamsMaintain urgency and responsiveness across multiple active projectsCompensation & PerksBase Salary: $110K-$125KQuarterly Bonus: Performance-based on sales metrics ($24k/yr minimum)Car Allowance: $500/monthFull Benefits: Medical, Dental, VisionRetirement: 401(k)Paid Time Off + HolidaysSchedule: Field-based role with flexibility; regular in-person client engagement requiredTravel: ~80% local territory travel + periodic travel to corporate HQ for collaborationRequirements2+ years of experience in architectural or construction-related sales (design-driven or custom products preferred)Proven success in A&D specification sales environmentsStrong understanding of the architectural and construction processAbility to read and interpret architectural drawings and specificationsDemonstrated success in lead generation, relationship management, and closing businessExcellent presentation skills with the ability to engage design professionalsExperience developing project proposals and specificationsProficiency with CRM systems and pipeline managementStrong organizational, project management, and territory planning skillsSelf-starter with the ability to work independently in a dynamic, field-based roleExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsMust own a vehicle and be comfortable with frequent regional travelPreferred QualificationsBackground or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or BusinessExperience with custom architectural or acoustic productsExisting relationships within the San Antonio/Austin A&D communityAdditional Details:This is not a remote role; consistent in-person client engagement is requiredCandidates must be based in or near the New York Metro areaNo visa sponsorship is available for this position
