This position has no direct reports.Summary of ResponsibilitiesPerforms 1st level phone/email support (prioritizes, resolves, and documents issues)Manages USM Help Desk ticketing systemRepairs, replaces or upgrades computersInstalls and repairs peripherals such as monitors, docks, keyboards, mice, and printersTracks hardware assets and documents software purchasesPerforms remote support for VPN and remote desktopTrains new users on Office 365, phone systems, VPN/RDP, shared drives, Concur, ERP defaults, Salesforce, and setting up future softwareMaintains documentation of all IT hardware IP's addressesHandles employee cell phone services, including but not limited to tech support, ordering devices, transferring data, and initial set-upPerforms Shared Logic (ERP) future enhancements supportAssists with special projects and/or other duties as assignedDesired CharacteristicsBachelor's degree in related field or comparable experienceMinimum 0-2 years of IT experienceAbility to take initiative, drive change, and lead by exampleDemonstrated experience performing the responsibilities of the roleAbility to effectively coach, guide, and teach team members IT related processesExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to drive core objectives to completionAbility to work, at times, to support IT related tasks for team members in our yard and warehouse operations; therefore, ability to work in various environmental conditions such as extreme heat or cold, dusty, dirty and/or wet conditionsMinimum Safety Training RequirementsBasic on-the-job training that satisfies the Primary Objectives of the specific position (as noted above)US-SOP-01 United in Safety ManualUS-F11 QEH&S PolicyUS-SOP-03 Team Member HandbookWe strive to demonstrate our Core Values in all positions at USM:Trust ?
