Tri-Force Energy holds a reputation for reliability and technical excellence within the energy sector.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior or Lead Solar Technician based in Westchester or western Connecticut. The Senior Technician will perform inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance on commercial and utility-scale PV systems. Daily tasks include research and preparation, onsite , ensuring compliance with safety standards, and documenting work performed. The role will also require coordinating with team members to diagnose complex issues and providing training or mentorship to junior technicians.QualificationsStrong technical skills in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting, including knowledge of PV systems, inverters, and monitoring systemsExperience with inspections, testing procedures, and adhering to safety protocols in the solar or electrical industryProficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and equipment specificationsAbility to conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, including diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issuesStrong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a teamFamiliarity with industry standards and regulations for renewable energy systemsPhysical fitness to handle on-site work, including climbing ladders, working at heights, and performing outdoor tasksValid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Mid-Atlantic region for site visitsAssociate degree or equivalent experience in electrical, mechanical, or renewable energy fields; NABCEP certification is preferred
