Hiring: Senior BMS/BAS Engineer (Pharmaceutical)Our client is a leading global provider of contract development and manufacturing services to the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, seeking a Senior BMS Engineer to join its growing engineering function. This role plays a key part in ensuring that highly regulated automation and control systems are designed, implemented, and maintained to the highest standards. You'll work across new installations, upgrades, and ongoing system support, contributing directly to operational excellence, safety, and compliance.Core ResponsibilitiesTake a leading role in the development, specification, and delivery of automation and process control systems within building and operational environments.Oversee the installation, start-up, and commissioning of new automation platforms, ensuring any technical issues or system deficiencies are identified and resolved.Support the development of engineering guidelines, standards, and best practice, while contributing to ongoing improvement initiatives across projects.Preferred Experience and QualificationsDegree in Engineering required; qualifications in Automation, Software Engineering, or related technical disciplines would be beneficial.Minimum of eight years' experience working with automation technologies in regulated or compliance-driven industries.Demonstrated experience delivering complete automation system lifecycles, including PLC, SCADA, and DCS solutions.Familiarity with Building Management Systems, particularly platforms such as Siemens Desigo/Apogee and Schneider Electric EBO.Understanding of industrial communication standards such as Modbus and BACnet, along with practical knowledge of field instrumentation and control devices.
