Logistics CoordinatorPosition: Logistics CoordinatorContract Type: PermanentLocation: Santa Clara, CASchedule: Monday to FridayEstimated Start Date: Immediate (onboarding takes around 7 business days)Compensation: $68,640 -$27,800 including benefitsPlease note: This role is not open for C2C or any third-party arrangements.Role SummaryThe Logistics Coordinator supports the movement, receipt, storage, and delivery of hardware assets across domestic and international locations, including company sites, suppliers, and partner facilities.This role ensures efficient coordination of shipments, proper inventory handling, and timely last-mile delivery to labs or customers. The position also interfaces with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and logistics partners to maintain operational continuity and resolve issues.Core ResponsibilitiesShipping & Logistics OperationsCoordinate international and domestic shipments of assets across company's geo-locations, suppliers, and partnersSupport shipping escalations and collaborate with company's Global Trade, suppliers, freight forwarders, and 3PL partners to ensure smooth customs clearanceArrange freight and customs services, including placing POs when required to enable continued shipment movement (including scenarios where company is not the Importer of Record)Ensure timely last-mile delivery to company labs or customersReceiving, Storage & InventoryCoordinate receipt of inbound shipments from domestic and international vendorsReceive freight from carriers and forwardersUnpackage, inspect, and properly store server and hardware componentsUpdate internal inventory management systems with accurate status and location dataMaintain proper storage practices aligned with operational and handling requirementsCoordination & Stakeholder SupportAct as Tier II support coordinating between procurement, transportation, and warehousing functions to ensure efficient and cost-effective service deliveryWork closely with SCHIE Development PMs to determine hardware requirements for exports across multiple geographiesProvide Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) support for critical project teams to drive timely hardware deliveryAdvise SCHIE stakeholders on logistics status, risks, and execution as neededPurchase Order & Financial CoordinationCreate and manage purchase orders (POs) supporting logistics, freight, and customs activitiesMonitor PO status and update internal systems accordinglyTrack and resolve PO exceptions and work with suppliers to reduce lead timesEscalate billing and invoice discrepancies with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal stakeholdersPreferred Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree or equivalent experience (6+ years in logistics, supply chain, or related field)Experience working with freight forwarders and international shipping operationsKnowledge of hazardous materials (HAZMAT) handling and certifications preferredFamiliarity with IATA Dangerous Goods shipping requirementsWorking knowledge of import/export documentation, trade terms (Incoterms), and compliance processesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs)Nice-to-Have Experience supporting data center, lab, or hardware environmentsFamiliarity with inventory tools (SAP, ADO, or similar systems)Experience supporting high-urgency or escalation-driven logistics environments (like R&D hardware or pilot programs)BenefitsAt Biblioso, we are committed to our employees' well-being and offer a competitive benefits package, including:401(k) retirement planDisability coverageEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Life insuranceHealth insurancePaid vacation and sick timePaid holidaysWe believe that investing in our team's well-being is essential for the success of our company.More About Your RoleThis dynamic role requires a collaborative attitude.
