The organization values hands-on controllers who can bring structure to complexity, partner closely with operations, and help scale processes as the business continues to grow.The OpportunityThe Regional Controller will act as the senior accounting leader for a group of operating entities, owning financial reporting, close, and compliance while serving as a trusted partner to both corporate finance and local leadership.This role offers meaningful scope and visibility. The right person will be deeply involved in the day-to-day accounting while also influencing how the business operates and scales. It is ideal for a CPA who enjoys ownership, accountability, and working close to the business rather than sitting purely at a corporate level.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn all accounting and financial reporting for assigned operating entitiesLead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in alignment with corporate timelinesReview journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and key accounting schedulesEnsure financial statements are accurate and compliant with U.S. GAAPMaintain and strengthen internal controls, policies, and documentationPartner with corporate audit and compliance teams on testing, remediation, and audit readinessIdentify process gaps and implement improvements to drive consistency and scalabilityLead, mentor, and develop local accounting teams across AP, AR, and GLAct as a finance partner to operational leadership, providing insight into performance, risks, and opportunitiesSupport budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis with FP&ACoordinate with tax and external auditors on entity-level requirementsWhat They Are Looking ForActive CPABachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldProgressive accounting experience with leadership responsibility in multi-entity environmentsStrong technical accounting foundation and command of U.S. GAAPExperience owning close and reporting for operating entitiesWorking knowledge of internal controls and compliance frameworksHands-on ERP experienceAdvanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data setsConfident communicator who can partner with both finance and operationsHigh ownership mindset with strong attention to detailWhy This Role Stands OutTrue controllership ownership with direct impact on the businessExposure to a complex, growing organization with ongoing acquisitionsOpportunity to influence how accounting is done, not just maintain itStrong compensation package with equity upsideVisible role with meaningful partnership across leadership and operationsClear runway for growth within a scaling finance organizationIndustry experience within distribution, manufacturing, food, agriculture, or logistics environments strongly preferredAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
